Here are a few things I’m grateful for today:

    • My piano. I have enjoyed playing so much, and am so grateful for the music I can bring into my apartment. Along those lines, I’m grateful for all the recorded music I have available to listen to in the background as I am cooking or reading.
    • People like Jen Campbell and Jennifer Ehle who are reading lovely classics on Instagram Live in short installments each day to help people pass the time during this craziness and bring some joy to someone’s day. Jen Campbell, a wonderful poet and author, is reading Alice in Wonderland and Jennifer Ehle is readingĀ Pride and Prejudice. And yes, that’s right. You can list to the 1995 film Pride and Prejudice‘s Elizabeth Bennet read the novel to you, and it is absolutely delightful.
    • The anticipation of the Music Never Sleeps NYC 24-hour livestream that starts Friday (tomorrow as I’m writing this) at 6:00 Eastern. Looks like it’s going to be fantastic!
    • The banana bread I made a week and a half ago. I didn’t eat it at the time, so I stuck it in the freezer and only just today pulled it out, and it was a lovely little treat to add to my lunch today. (And I’m grateful I didn’t let those bananas go to waste!)
